NIRF Ranking 2026 has not been released. The official NIRF website currently provides the 2026 data-submission system, while the latest published results remain India Rankings 2025.
In the 2025 Overall category, IIT Madras ranked first, followed by IISc Bengaluru, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur. Until the Ministry of Education publishes a 2026 ranking table, any “NIRF 2026 top colleges” list is a forecast or a repackaging of 2025 results.

Ten public and ten private institutions have been granted IoE status — most are NIRF top-ranked:
