A meteorite — ulka pind (उल्का पिंड), the Hindi and Sanskrit term for it — is a solid fragment of extraterrestrial rock or metal that survives passage through Earth's atmosphere and lands on the surface. Origin of Meteorites
Most meteorites originate from:
