Bhimbetka Rock Shelters:
इनमें horse और elephant riders, swords, shields, bows और spears लिए men तथा religious motifs हैं।
| Typical colours |
|---|---|---|
| Upper Palaeolithic | बड़े, bold single animals: bison, tiger, rhino, elephant | Green, dark red |
| Mesolithic (सबसे समृद्ध layer) | छोटी lively scenes: hunting, dancing, honey collection, group life | Red, white |
| Chalcolithic | Malwa plains की farming settlements से contact | Red, white |
| Early historic | Horse और elephant riders, weapons, religious symbols | Red, white, yellow |
| Medieval | Schematic, decorative, geometric figures | Red, white, manganese, charcoal |
Cultural continuity: nearby villages
Bhimbetka UNESCO World Heritage Site
2003 में Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka को UNESCO World Heritage List में शामिल किया गया।
दूसरा, Bhimbetka natural environment के अनुसार ढली human settlement और hunter-gatherer way of life का outstanding example है, जो असाधारण रूप से पूरे और आसानी से पढ़े जा सकने वाले रूप में बचा है।
Art and culture में यह पूरी Indian painting story का starting point है।
यह Indian art की antiquity, prehistoric life, human-forest relationship और Indian civilization की unbroken roots पर answers को support करता है।
Bhimbetka rock shelters
Bhimbetka
समृद्ध Mesolithic layer में hunting, dancing, honey collection और community life की lively scenes हैं।
Bhimbetka UNESCO World Heritage Site
Paintings और उनमें दर्ज way of life nearby tribal villages की traditions के साथ close association में हैं।
Bhimbetka
