• Indian and World Geography — Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.

Mains — General Studies Paper I

• Distribution of key natural resources across India and the sub-continent; factors responsible for the location of primary, secondary, and tertiary sector industries (including India).
• Important Geophysical phenomena such as earthquakes, Tsunami, Volcanic activity, cyclone etc.; changes in critical geographical features and in flora and fauna and the effects of such changes.
