Year archives

Whole-year current-affairs PDFs

The complete year as a single PDF. Useful for backwards-mapping a topic across the year, or for a final Prelims sprint where you scan an entire year in one session.

How to use these PDFs

Three rules every topper followed

  1. 01

Use daily PDFs for new learning, monthly PDFs for revision.

Download today’s PDF to add fresh material to your notes the day it breaks. Come back to the same month’s compilation 60 days before Prelims when the noise has settled and only the lasting takeaway is worth re-reading.

  2. 02

Print one month at a time, never an entire year.

Year PDFs run to 700+ pages. Printing the whole thing kills both the printer and your appetite to revise. Print month-by-month, annotate in pencil, file by GS paper. The act of annotating is half the retention.

  3. 03

Use Subject Compass PDFs for the final sprint.

In the last 60 days before Prelims, the Environment + Polity + S&T Compass PDFs cover roughly 45 percent of every recent Prelims paper. If you can only carry three documents to your final-week revision, these are the three.

Why daily PDFs matter

The single habit that separates 95 from 130 marks

Most aspirants treat current affairs as a stream — read today, forget by next month, panic in March. The discipline that separates 95-mark Prelims attempts from 130-mark attempts is brutally simple: save every day’s PDF, add to one notebook, never delete. By exam day, you have 200 days of compiled, syllabus-mapped current affairs in your hands — not a frantic Telegram scroll history.

Each PDF on this page is produced by the same engine: every published current-affairs article on AnantamIAS is converted to a print-friendly PDF on-demand when you click the download button. Articles include the Why-in-News hook, the exact GS paper and sub-topic it feeds, scannable sub-headings, a UPSC-style practice question at the foot of each piece, and the FAQ accordion we publish with every article. The format is consistent across every PDF, so by week two your eye learns where to find each element.

Three months of daily PDFs → one full notebook of revision-ready notes. Six months → two notebooks → full coverage of every CSE-2026 current-affairs theme. Twelve months → you are running a closed-system revision cycle where every fact has a source and every source has a date. That is the depth UPSC rewards.

FAQ

Daily PDF download — what aspirants ask

Are these PDFs really free? Do I need to sign up?

Yes, completely free. No signup, no email, no paywall. Click any download button on this page and the PDF opens in your browser. AnantamIAS believes that current-affairs material should be open access for serious aspirants.

How are the PDFs generated?

On-demand from our gt-pro plugin. When you click a download button, the server collects every published current-affairs article for that day / month / year, formats it into a print-ready PDF (with Why-in-News, GS mapping, practice question, FAQs), and serves it as a single document. Articles published after the PDF was downloaded will appear in the next download.

How often is the daily PDF updated?

In real time. Every time we publish a new current-affairs article, today’s PDF includes it the next time you click download. If you download at 6 p.m. and we publish more at 8 p.m., re-download at 8 p.m. to get the updated version.

How big are these PDFs?

Daily PDFs are typically 8 to 25 pages (depending on how many articles we published that day). Monthly compilations run 80 to 200 pages. Full-year PDFs are 700 to 1200 pages — large, but optimised for print. Subject Compass PDFs run 400 to 600 pages each.

Can I print the daily PDF directly?

Yes — designed for it. The CSS is tuned for A4 with sensible margins; black-and-white prints look clean. Many aspirants print the daily PDF at 09:00 every morning and revise it over lunch the same day. That is the optimal use.

Why don’t I see the Compass full-year PDFs for 2024 / 2026?

We compile full-year Compass PDFs once the year is fully closed and the subject material is exam-ready. Current published Compass: full-year 2025 (Environment, Polity, S&T). 2024 Compass is in archived form within the monthly compilations. 2026 Compass will be published in January 2027.

How should I integrate these PDFs into my study plan?

Three layers. Daily layer: download every morning, scan in 25-35 min. Monthly layer: download the month’s compilation in the first week of the next month, re-read once. Pre-Prelims layer: print last 6 months’ monthly PDFs in the 60 days before exam day, annotate and re-revise twice.

Are these PDFs the same content as the website?

Yes, 1:1 with the website articles — same Why-in-News, same GS mapping, same practice question. The PDF format strips navigation, ads and theme chrome so you get only the study material.

Can I share these PDFs with my study group?

Yes, freely. AnantamIAS welcomes you to share PDFs with your study group, peers or coaching batchmates. Keep the AnantamIAS footer credit intact so others can find the source.

What if a day has zero current-affairs articles?

Sundays and major holidays sometimes have no published articles. For those days the date will not appear in the list above. We publish 5-15 articles on a normal weekday, 0-2 on Sundays.
